Annette Lark Counselling in Tunbridge Wells

Frequently Asked Questions

How long are the sessions and how many will I need?
Sessions are 50 minutes long and are usually held weekly at the same time. Sometimes people come to counselling for a set number of sessions to work on something in particular; alternatively people may come for longer to work on deeper issues.

How much will it cost?
I offer a free brief telephone discussion.
The initial consultation costs £60 and lasts around an hour. Thereafter fees are £60 per 50 minute session. If you are not earning and/or are unable to pay the full fee please call and enquire about the possibility of a reduced fee.

Who is counselling suitable for?
Counselling may be suitable for all kinds of people, men and women of all ages and every stage of life. There may be something in particular you would like to talk about or perhaps a general feeling of unhappiness or unease persists.

What happens after our first meeting?
In our first meeting we will decide whether you can commit to coming to therapy at the same time each week for 50 minutes. We can then meet thereafter. I work both long term and short-term depending on your needs.

Where do I come for counselling?
I practice from accessible and comfortable consulting rooms at Royal Victoria House, in the centre of Tunbridge Wells.

Is there parking?
Yes. There is plenty of parking close by.
